I contradict myself in everything I do, every poem I write, and every answer I give, They tell us our opinion matters. But, how can it if we live in a world that constantly changes? How can it when you feel like you are stuck in that world and you're always two steps behind the others? How can it when you feel like you're older, more mature, wiser, when you feel different from everyone around you? It matters because everyone's different in every way, shape, and form you can think of. Why should that limit us? We're all different. We shouldn't brought down because of it. Besides, doesn't being different, makes us all the same?

1. My Lovely Baby

I stood there, when you were taken away

Left me without anything to say

I stood there as tears rolled down my face

“She is gone, now move on”, they say…

I remember that day

When I saw you covered in blood, all red

The paramedics rushed

Said, “She is in a critical stage..”

I wept I cried

When my mind came across the fear of losing you

I couldn’t walk

I stood their as if paralised

Were the angels that lonely

Couldn’t they suffice for anybody else

Can everybody just lie to me

“She’s home, she’s home”

Waiting for me

I wish I could save you

But it was written in my fate

I thought there was some god

But “NO!” I said.

That night you came in my dream

Said, “Mother don’t worry

I’m here and will always be

Your angel, Your lovely baby..”

Tears filled my eyes

My hopes rise

I believed you and thought

“A god is there

Who is looking after you and me

My angel, my lovely baby…”
